Robert Powers & Sydney Penny
Jester's Café was purchased in 2016 by Robert Powers and Sydney Penny. The couple hail from California but have lived in NYC, Montreal and Paris before making Wilmington their home in 2005. Robert and Sydney have been married for 27 years and have a son.
The pair met while working on the soap opera, Santa Barbara, Robert in production and Sydney as an actress. Robert is also an artist and some of his work can been seen in the café as well as at his website, www.robertpowersart.com.
Both Robert and Sydney have roots in the South and enjoy all that the Carolina Coast has to offer - surfing, tennis and of course, food!
